

He was a proud veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist aboard the USS Bataan in the Pacific Theater.
After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Mr. Klein received security clearance on numerous Government research projects inclusive of the creation of the rocket sled that tested man's endurance to speed. His work ethic inspired loyal employees who remained in contact with him throughout his life.
Mr. Klein is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Frances Eva Segal Klein, as well as his parents and all of his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy K. Smith and her husband, Bradley; his grandsons, David and Eric and David's fiance, Neha Bhatia; numerous nieces and nephews to include Eunice Sturt, her husband, Richard and their family.
Mr. Klein's family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to Congregation Agudas Achim, as well as to Rabbi Chaim Block and Cantor David Silverstein for their continued support.
