Leonard Lee Moreno Jr.

Leonard Lee Moreno Jr., affectionately known as “Bono” to family and friends throughout his childhood, passed away at the age of 33. Born on August 19, 1992, in San Antonio, Texas, Leonard will be remembered for his kind heart, love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Leonard found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, sharing a Budweiser with friends and family, and most of all, spending time with the people he loved. His laughter, loyalty, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elsa Moreno; his cherished children, Aidan Lee Moreno, Ares Jasiah Moreno, and Zaileen Aliyah Moreno; his parents, Isabel Machado and Leonard Moreno Sr.; his siblings, Monique Ann Vargas (Michael Vargas), Lawrence Lee Moreno (Ysenia Ramos), Cristie Lee Moreno, and James Machado; his grandmother, Eva Guzman; his uncles, Alfonso Ibarra Jr (Priscilla Ann Garza), and Leonard Ibarra (Barbara Ibarra) his aunts, Sandra Villalobos Ibarra, Pauline Castro Ibarra, Lorraine Rodriguez (Moses Rodriguez), and Joy Alonso (Luis Alonso); and He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.

Leonard was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfonso Ibarra Sr; his grandmother, Maria T. Ibarra; and his uncle, Domingo Ibarra.

Though his time with us was far too short, Leonard’s love, strength, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will be treasured forever, and his legacy will endure through the lives he touched.

A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on June 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, A Prayer Service followed by a open mic will be recited at 3:00 pm, and mariachi's to perform at 4:00 pm.
