She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Michael, her parents, her sister Elia, and her brother David.
Leonor will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the kindness she shared with those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children and all who were fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her son, John Kouremetis and his wife, Julie; and her daughters, Kathy Moreno and her husband Paul, and Mary Beaudro and her husband Bob; and her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces and spouses, nephew and spouse, great nieces, and cousins and spouses. Also, a special thank you to her wonderful neighbors, friends, and caregivers. And her dog Nico.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Leonor's life with visitation on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring, 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78212. A Rosary will immediately follow at the mortuary at 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary, followed by a procession departing the mortuary at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church, 14714 Edgemont Street, San Antonio, Texas 78247.
Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
Pallbearers include Bob Beaudro, Charles DeHoyos, Jordan Kouremetis, Jacob Kouremetis, John Luna, and Chris Moreno.
Leonor's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. She will be missed deeply and remembered forever.
