Lera Elisabeth Phillips

She was born August 26, 1921 in Fort Worth, Texas to Henrietta "Yetta" and Roy Lee Faught.

Her life and career took her from her childhood home in Fort Worth to San Juan, Texas, to eventually settle in Houston.

In August 2000, she moved to San Antonio where she lived her final years in the Chandler Estates Retirement Center.

Bette leaves behind a great many loving friends and family. She is survived by two sons, Chris Kathy Miller of San Antonio, and Mike Lenice Dennis of Rotan, Texas; and two daughters, Lisa Miller Cook of Kingwood, Texas, and Patricia Dennis Ollie Barrier of Portland, Texas. Twelve grandchildren include Brian Natalie Leediker of Houston, Texas, David Leediker of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Blake Miller, Amanda Miller and their mother Sherry Miller of Corpus Christi, Rebecca and Angela Moore of San Antonio, Amanda Moore of College Station, Rusty Tricia Barrier of Sinton, Texas, David Jill Dennis of Abilene, Joy Lynne Emery of Yorktown, VA, Richard Felicia Dennis of Lubbock, and Allen Amanda Dennis of Texas City. Bette was also a great grandmother to 11 children.
