Lester C. Krueger

Lester C. Krueger passed away October 13, 2012 at the age of 82. Lester was Texas born and raised. After running and owning his own dairy farm for half his life, he settled down in Helotes with his long time companion Bonnie Stout and opened The Helotes Country Club in Old Town Helotes. He was an avid hunter, who loved the outdoors. He was a big man with a big heart to match who liked to have friends and family around. He spent hours at his bar visiting with his friends and catching up on the latest news or listening to latest, greatest stories.

Lester is preceded in death by his companion of over 30 years, Bonnie. He is survived by his son, Lester “Chuck” Krueger Jr., daughter Tammy Krueger Pointon and her children Morgan and Tanner. He is also survived by his brother Edmund “Junie” Krueger Jr., sister Darlene “Dolly” Langfeld, cousins, family members, and dear lifelong friends too numerous to list.

All burial arrangements have been made through Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 6321 Bandera Road. A memorial service for Lester will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Helotes Fair Grounds at 3:00 p.m. Guests are invited to join the family after services for a celebration of his life at The Helotes Country Club.
