So sweet to visit with you, Thelma! So hard not to see Lester next to you. But I could see how his memories will be your strength. So keep those special times near and they will become more dear as time goes on. I pray His Blessing upon you and family.

Grandad, I don't know where to begin... I have so many fun memories when Kamryn and I came to visit during the summer. I am going to miss all the laughs we had.  I couldn't have asked for a better Grandad.  I miss you so much.  I will spend time with Grandma and we can talk about our memories. I love and miss you.  I'll see you in Heaven!

My fabulous Uncle Les. I don't think that I can find the words to fully express how I feel. I will miss you more than you would ever know.  Although I only saw you every few years, I felt incredibly close to you and enjoyed our chats when I called. I will miss your humour, your cheeky smile, your love and your funny sayings (went out ... and the hogs ate him, is one I still love and say!). I am so glad that Timmy I got to see and spend some time with you in June - he thought the world of you too.  You loved your family, near and far, and we all loved you right back. Grandad, you made the best Mac & Cheese ever! I love all the great times we had around the pool.  You are in all my prayers ~ I Love You!

To my Granddad, 
 I can't explain how lucky I feel to have had such a wonderful man to call my Granddad. I have so many memories of you and I laughing and having a good time and why I wish I could make more with you today, I am just so thankful I got to make the ones we did. I feel so blessed to have had you around to share my graduations and my wedding. I can not wait to tell my new baby, your great grandchild, about the wonderful man I called Granddad and the man I hope they will one day meet in heaven. I know I can rest at ease now knowing that you are up in Heaven holding my little girl and showing her the love you always showed all of us. I know you are in a wonderful place so for that I am happy, but Ill always wish you were here to put my arms around. I love you with all my heart and can not wait until we meet again. Thank you for the Granddad you were to me and for the father you were to my mom.

Dearest Lester;  What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch.  We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived; and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.  God saw that your body was tired so he made you a guardian angel.

I will miss you so very much.  You and my dad were so much alike (like two peas in a pod) and such good friends for so many years.  Thelma, Karen, Kevin, Krista and family, I pray that you find comfort and strength from the wonderful memories you carry with you and I pray that one day your tears of sadness will turn to tears of joy and laughter when you think of him.
