Libby is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne Earl Lemoine; and her children, Joseph W. Lemoine (Suzanne), Joanna O'Dowd (Marshall), Gina M. Renner (Joseph), Michael E. Lemoine (Grace), Sister Concetta Pascolini (Spike/Buffalo, NY) and 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Libby was preceded in death by her sister Ninfa Hartman (Chuck) and her brother Anthony M. Bellitter (Pearl/Phoenix, AZ).
Libby was a traditional Italian American daughter, sister, wife, mother, and a notoriously truthful aunt who was proud of all of her family's accomplishments, which included ensuring that all of her children earned 4 year college degrees. Libby was known for being an excellent Southern Italian cook. "Not a Chef," she would say, "because Chef's are paid!" There was no compensation that could have rewarded her more than her family's full bellies. Libby, before her dementia set in, was an active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church community and belonged to the Sultannas, Alter Society, and the parish's comfort food bereavement group.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with a ROSARY immediately following at 7pm.
MASS: Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 9:45 A.M., Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
