Lidia O. Rodriguez

Lidia vivió una vida centrada en el amor, la devoción y la familia. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Octavio Rodríguez, y juntos compartieron cuarenta y cinco hermosos años de matrimonio.

Lidia se ha reunido en el Cielo con su amado esposo, Octavio, y su hijo, Abelardo Rodríguez.

Lidia tenía un alma cálida y generosa, y llenaba de alegría todo lugar que visitaba. Le encantaba hornear, cantar, bailar y cocinar, y compartía estas pasiones con todo su corazón con su familia y amigos. Su hogar era un lugar de paz, impregnado del aroma de sus platillos, el sonido de su voz al cantar y la presencia constante y amorosa que brindaba a quienes la rodeaban.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Álvaro Rodríguez, y su hija, Adriana García. Deja atrás a sus queridos nietos: Keyla García, Kassandra García, Kamilo García, Álvaro Rodríguez y Abelardo Rodríguez, quienes le brindaron gran orgullo y alegría. El legado de Lidia perdura en los corazones de su familia, en las tradiciones que les transmitió y en el amor que compartió con tanta generosidad.

Su recuerdo será una bendición para todos los que la conocieron.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Del Ángel Treviño, ubicada en 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, el 30 de noviembre de 2025, de 3:00 p. m. a 1:00 a. m. (del día siguiente), con un servicio religioso a las 7:00 p. m.

La despedida tendrá lugar a las 9:30 a. m. y la procesión partirá de la funeraria a las 10:00 a. m. hacia la Misa de Resurrección en la Iglesia Católica de San Judas, ubicada en 130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237, el 1 de diciembre de 2025 a las 10:30 a. m.

El sepelio se realizará a continuación en el Cementerio San Fernando III, ubicado en 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.

Lidia O. Rodriguez, born on August 13, 1945, in Coahuila, Mexico, to Jose Dolores and Maria Dolores Ocura, entered into eternal rest on November 18, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.

Lidia lived a life centered on love, devotion, and family. She married the love of her life, Octavio Rodriguez, and together they shared forty-five beautiful years of marriage.

Lidia is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband; Octavio and her son, Abelardo Rodriguez.

Lidia had a warm, generous soul and brought joy to every space she entered. She loved to bake, sing, dance, and cook, and she shared these passions wholeheartedly with her family and friends. Her home was a place of comfort, filled with the aromas of her cooking, the sound of her voice in song, and the steady, loving presence she offered to those around her.

She is survived by her son, Alvaro Rodriguez and her daughter, Adriana Garcia. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Keyla Garcia, Kassandra Garcia, Kamilo Garcia, Alvaro Rodriguez, and Abelardo Rodriguez—each of whom brought her great pride and joy. Lidia’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, in the traditions she passed down, and in the love she shared so freely.

Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on November 30, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am (next day), with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.

A Dismissal will be conducted at 9:30 am and a Processional will depart from the funeral home at 10:00am for a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237, on December 1, 2025, at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
