Lilia was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Rodarte, beloved parents, Salvador Cantero and Aurea Torres; her siblings, Mireya and Saul;
She is survived by her loving daughters, Araceli Martinez, Quinta Cortes, and Feliberta Santiesteban; her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Lilia was a woman who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved her plants and gardening, creating beautiful handmade jewelry, dancing and socializing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. She had a special gift for bringing people together through her love of cooking holiday meals, crocheting, and making homemade tamales.
Her home was often filled with the wonderful aromas of her cooking, the laughter of family, and the warmth of her generous spirit. She gave her love freely and created countless memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Lilia's kindness, creativity, laughter, and love for her family will be deeply missed. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
May she rest peacefully, forever surrounded by the love she gave so freely to others.
