Lilia M. Gonzalez, Loving mother and wife entered into rest July 5, 2014 in San Antonio at the age of 81. She was born August 5, 1932 in Laredo, Texas to the late Enrique Martinez and Margarita S. Martinez.
Survivors include her sons Reemberto Gonzalez III and wife Barbara, Michael J. Gonzalez; three grandchildren Shandra Mayberry, Tina Gonzalez, Sandra Fox; great-grandchildren, Great-great- grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.
Lilia was very active in Church and enjoyed dancing and bowling.
Visitation will begin at 5:30pm Monday July 14, 2014 with a rosary to follow at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday July 15, 2014 at St Thomas More Catholic Church with a committal service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzhiemers Association by going to www.alz.org and clicking on the donations tab.
