Lillian Leberta Edmunds

She was born March 28, 1933 in San Antonio to Derry and Hazel Davies. She started her career in 1951 as a civil service employee at Kelly Air Force Base. After raising her family she worked at Northeast Baptist Hospital as Director of Volunteers for 23 years. Upon retirement, she volunteered at Christian Assistance Ministry, AARP, and as an ambassador at the San Antonio Airport.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry L. (Hank) Edmunds; children, Grace Branecky and husband Richard, Eileen M. Kondoff and husband Keith, Melissa Ann Edmunds, Henry L. Edmunds, Jr., and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Kyle B. Kondoff and Kelsey M. Kondoff; and her beloved dog, Keiki. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
