Linda Quiroga Dominguez, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on June 5th, 2025, in Roswell, Georgia. Linda was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Severo and Maria Quiroga on December 14th, 1946. She attended Burbank High School in San Antonio. She was married to Manuel A. Dominguez.
Linda spent over 20 years in the banking world, working with dedication and heart at First Federal Bank, BBVA, Compass, and Laredo National Bank. But her work never defined her as much as her giving spirit did. She poured her energy into the community she loved volunteering at the SAMM Shelter and proudly serving as a poll worker during Bexar County elections.
She was a true San Antonian through and through, fiercely proud of her roots, endlessly loyal to the Spurs, and always happiest outside in the Texas sun. Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures: fishing, hiking, biking, and soaking in the beauty of the outdoors. But more than anything, she was passionate about her family and lived each day with warmth, strength, and deep love for the people around her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Dominguez; her siblings Ernest Quiroga, Raul Quiroga, Edward Quiroga, Joe Quiroga, Rudy Quiroga, Severo Quiroga Jr, Robert Quiroga, and Rosemary (Quiroga) Moran
Linda is survived by her sister, Olga (Quiroga) Charron; her daughter, Gina Gory; son-in-law, Igor Gory; granddaughter, Sarah Gory; and her son, Jason Dominguez.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 7th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
