Linda Gail Guy

Linda Guy, born October 22, 1946, entered heaven and into the arms of Jesus on March 6, 2023. Linda was a fabulous wife to Gary for 57 years, a wonderful mother, and a great nana. Linda was a fantastic protector of her family and children. She was a warrior for God and was passionate in her beliefs. She loved teaching children which was shown through her fourth/fifth grade teaching, 45 years of Sunday school teaching and endless summers of backyard bible study. Countless children will meet her in heaven for years to come due to her willingness to follow God’s calling to plant seeds. Linda is survived by her husband Gary, sons Mike and his wife Hilary and Evan and his wife Melissa; grandchildren Tate, Bishop, Jared, Madilyn, Emily, and Ella; great grandchildren Isabelle, Asher, and Aspen; sister Amy Graham, husband Chris and their children; multiple brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents James A. Bickler and Ernestine Buffington, and her brother James “Jimmy” A. Bickler, Jr. Her wishes were to only have a family gathering for remembrance of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to merkelcell.org to improve cancer research.
