Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Christi, her cherished grandchildren, Tori Townley and Christian Townley, and her loving siblings: Gennell Birch, Milton Turner, Rodney Turner, Julie Cortez, and Ricky Koppinger. Also mourning her passing are her dear aunt and uncle, Jack and Fay Staples, and numerous cousins who shared in her laughter, love, and warmth.
Linda received a high school education, but her true learning came from the experiences life offered her. She retired from Frost Bank after dedicating over 25 years of loyal service, earning the respect of her colleagues and clients alike.
A true Texas sports fan at heart, Linda loved cheering on the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys, often while enjoying her favorite Hallmark movies. Her simple joys were filled with heartfelt moments and warm traditions.
Linda will be remembered most for her radiant smile that could light up any room—and every heart in it. She never met a stranger and was known for her kind spirit and generous heart. Always ready to help others, she would give the shirt off her back without hesitation. Though she may not have had riches in the material sense, her life was rich in love, compassion, and unforgettable moments.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched—one smile, one kind word, and one act of love at a time.
