

Linda P. Lomas passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, at the age of 73. She was a proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1971. A proud veteran of the United States Army and a devoted member of the VFW. She dedicated 16 years of service to the San Antonio Water System (S.A.W.S.) as a Senior Pipeline Inspector. Linda lived a life marked by a deep love for her family and friends.
Born on March 28, 1952, Linda embraced life with a heart full of passion. She was a woman of many interests and talents, whether she was reading a good book, dancing to classic rock or Tejano music, working on trucks, or maintaining her lawn with care, Linda put her whole heart into everything she did. Her joy for life was contagious.
Linda loved the outdoors, barbecuing, spending days at the beach or tubing down rivers, and gardening brought her peace and happiness. A lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs, she cheered on her teams with unwavering loyalty. She also had a soft spot for animals, especially her beloved Chihuahuas, Mila and Dallas.
In quieter moments, Linda enjoyed Hallmark movies, watching wrestling, attending car shows, and sharing laughs over a cold beer while visiting friends. Her generosity was evident in how she cared for others, always ready to babysit, lend a hand, or brighten someone’s day.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Enriqueta Palacio Rincon, and her sister, Yolanda L. Hernandez.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving partner of 51 years, Olga Villarreal; her son, Chris Timmy Ramos; and her sister, Theresa R. McCain. She is also survived by numerous family members and lifelong friends who will remember her fierce love, her loyalty, and her unforgettable laugh.
Linda’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Committal Service will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. (Shelter #1) at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
