Linda Ann Necker

She graduated from Incarnate Word High School, and married John Leslie Necker in 1961. She made her home in San Antonio until moving to Boerne in June of 1984.

She and her husband were owners and operators of The Cabaret Restaurant Dance Hall in Bandera from 1993-1996, then opened The Back Porch Restaurant in Boerne, which they operated until its closing in 2007 due to health problems. Linda was known for her delicious "home-cooked" food.

A loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed bowling and square dancing, and was a devout Catholic and member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Boerne.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John; 3 children, Debora Lynn Jones Blake, Brenda Sue Necker, and John Leslie Necker, Jr. Faith; 2 grandchildren, Derek Klumpp and Grace Necker; 2 step-grandchildren, Amanda and Madison Jones; a sister, Coleen Harris Craig; a stepsister, Carol Skloss Herman; and 3 sisters-in-law, Rosemary Tips, Margie Petri Max, and Dottie Knodell Tom.
