Linda Faye Jones Threlkeld age 63, of San Antonio, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 11, 2009. She was born March 24, 1946 to Basil Hudson Jones and Leona Harryman Jones in Stillwater, OK.
Linda was a member of The Church of Christ for over 30 years, belonging to the Northside and Sunset Ridge congregations. She was a believer in service to the community.
Over the years she worked with the San Antonio Conservation Society, the San Antonio Symphony, Helping Hands Basset Rescue of Central Texas, and many other organizations.
She created a beautiful family with her loving husband of 34 years, Lal Duncan Threlkeld. Linda loved life and always had a smile on her face. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, humor, kindness, and the generous treatment of others.
She is survived by her husband, Lal; daughters, Ashley Duncan Threlkeld and Lindsey Duncan Threlkeld; brother, Basil Kent Jones and partner, Shuji Ikeda; sisters-in-law, Ann Lilly and husband, Bob, and Joy Threlkeld; brother-in-law, Bruce Threlkeld; one aunt, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
