

Linda Rae Srubar Tucker, born February 23, 1950, died peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2021. Mrs. Tucker is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Polly Srubar; her first husband, Ernest Richter; and her sister, Irene Hoekstra. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Deacon Thomas G. Tucker; her sons, Norman Morse Tucker and his wife January (nee Brunet) and their son Luke Ryan, and Landon Gates Tucker, all of Metairie, LA. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Murray of Eloy, AZ, JoAnn Beissner of Smithson Valley, TX, and Paula Wissman of Webster, TX as well as her brothers, Joe Srubar Jr. of San Antonio, TX and Bob Srubar of Phoenixville, PA. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tucker retired in 1995 after a career as a certified public accountant. She was active in the Catholic Church parishes where her husband was assigned as a deacon. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Altar Guild, and ACTS.
Public viewing will begin at 9:00 am on March 30, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church with a Rosary following at 10:00 am and Mass of Resurrection at 11:30 am. Her interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be private at a later date.
Due to Covid restrictions and social distancing, there will not be a luncheon. At a future post Covid date there will be a celebration lunch or dinner in memory of Linda.
