Lisa Maria Mendiola

Lisa was born on January 12, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan, to Refugia Sauseda. She attended school in San Antonio, Texas, and later married the love of her life, Cruz Mendiola, on July 29, 2011, in San Antonio.

Lisa worked as an Associate Operations Support Analyst at Citi Bank for five years. Above all, she was devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Refugia Sauseda.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Cruz Mendiola; her children, Cruz Mendiola Jr., Daniela Rodriguez, Hector Garcia, and Owen Monday; her sisters, Rachel Villarreal and Andrea Richardson; and her cherished grandchildren, Cruz Mendiola III, Amayah Leath, Penelope Rodriguez, and Katalina Mendiola.

The family of Lisa Maria Mendiola extends its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Methodist Cardiologist ICU Unit for the compassionate care and support they provided during Lisa's final days.

Lisa's love, strength, and warmth will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
