Lisa attended Madison High School and San Antonio College. Her early academic interests included studies in Child Development, but her career path led to a long and happy association with Southwest Business Corporation (SWBC Mortgage) where she served as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer.
Deeply committed to the San Antonio Coalition for Veterans and Families, Lisa served as a relentless and faithful volunteer for SACVF when she joined Lt. Col. Hector Villarreal and the "team" in 2011 to help connect Veterans and their families with essential community resources. She never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Warren; paternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Warren; maternal grandmother, Henriette Mayer Des; and maternal aunt, Karin Attayabi.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Doris Warren Taggart and stepfather, Kenneth Taggart; brothers Paul, John, and Peter Warren; stepbrother, Kevin Taggart (Joe); stepsister, Melinda Taggart Kline (Mark); nephew Brendan Warren; niece Amanda Warren; great-niece Ava Kelly; cousins Mike (Julie) and Tony (Trudy) Martini; her angel and sister-of-the-heart, Donna Snyder; as well as other family members in Germany and Italy.
Lisa enjoyed the beach and the ocean, reading, traveling, her cats, and her Rottweilers: Rommel, Lisas Buddy, and Miss Molly of Cambridge. She was held dear by her family and numerous friends for her loving spirit, her thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity, quick wit, and steadfastness in friendship.
May she continue to be cherished in the heart, the abode of love, by all who will miss her. MEMORIAL SERVICETHURSDAY, JULY 28, 202211:00 AM AT ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCHPlease click here to view live stream service
