Liza Astran

Liza’s compassionate and endearing heart was undeniable to anyone who was blessed to have known her. Anyone who she considered a friend lived in her heart without judgment and without bias. She loved the world on her own terms and she danced to her own music. A truly unique soul who’s presence will be missed by all.

Liza is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Ann Wright; brother, Albert Daniel Astran; Aunt, Cana Astran and Daughter, Ariel Garcia.

She is survived by her parents, Olivia Barrera and Albert R. Astran; husband, Michael Sladek; children, Michael Sladek, Gabrael Sladek, Sophia Sladek, Amara Reyes Sladek and Christi Sladek; sisters, Elaine Astran (Priscilla Gonzalez) and Gregoria Alexis Astran (Angel Navarro); uncle, Joe Barrera (Sandra); aunt, Christy Ramirez (Ben) and nephews, Joe Angel and Jiraiya.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a chapel service to begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
