Lloyd Baxley Jr.

George was born Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lloyd George Baxley and Concepcion (Concha) Baxley on March 20, 1959. He went to school at Cotulla High School. He was single. He was a surveyor and did CAD drafting for over 30 years. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force and was awarded AF Good Conduct Medal, AF Overseas Tour Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He Trained and worked as a mechanic on F-15 combat jets and was able to travel the world during his time in the Air Force.

George is preceded in death by father, George Baxley and his mother, Concha Baxley.

George is survived by his brother James Baxley, sister in law Adelina Baxley, nephew Benjamin Baxley and niece Jacquelyn Baxley, Aunt Gloria Adkins, and Cousins Rene Villarreal, Rick Villarreal, Ken and Shelly Scott, Joann and Jerry Mendoza, Chris Beardsley, Bobbie Hamilton, and Ona Rogers. He also had his family from his favorite hangout, Banana’s Billiards.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Services will conclude immediately following.
