Born in San Antonio, TX, to the late Joe Luna and Martha Vasquez Carrillo, whom he adored immensely, Lloyd grew up with a deep love for auto mechanics, the worlds of Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, and a passion for connecting with everyone he met. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory and honor his life.
He is survived by his children: his son, Lloyd Luna Carrillo Jr., and his daughters, Martha Lyn Hernandez and Selena Nicole Carrillo; his brother, Floyd Carrillo; and many friends and family members who will miss him beyond measure.
He also leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren: Riley Garza, Emberly Carrillo, JoeAyden Carrillo, Samiel Coy, Ariela Hernandez, Xander Carrillo, Maylani Hernandez, Kaleesi Hernandez, and Micheal Hernandez, who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Carrillo and Martha Vasquez Carrillo.
His passing leaves a great void in the hearts of his family and loved ones. He will be fondly remembered, and his memory will live on through the generations he leaves behind.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on November 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am (next day). The Holy Rosary will take place there on November 15, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on November 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
