Lois Dunn passed away peacefully April 30, 2017, surrounded by loved ones who affectionately referred to her as “The Grandma.” Lois lived an active life and enjoyed her independence. She kept busy gardening, shopping and working on jigsaw puzzles. Lois loved socializing with friends and neighbors, especially Benito, who cared for her till the very end. She had a fond love for her three dogs, Tommy, Jerry and Sugar – they will sadly miss her. She donated regularly to the Humane Society and surrounded herself with many collectables and keepsakes that reminded her of her pets, especially Snoopy. The candid spirit of “The Grandma” touched our lives and she will live in our hearts forever.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Emma Lyons; husband, Martin Dunn, Sr.; her sister and brother. She is survived by her children, Martin Dunn, Jr, Patricia Curelo, Margie Mater; and numerous grand children.
A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 7 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel
