

She was born December 1, 1910 on a ranch near Devil's Backbone. When she was five the family moved to a farm at Gruene where she attended Thornhill School. The family moved to New Braunfels in 1927. In New Braunfels, she worked for several clothing stores where she sewed and modeled some of the dresses.
She married Bernard Joseph Ben Vogel on July 17, 1933, and moved to San Antonio. The couple went into the restaurant business and later bought a ranch north of New Braunfels.
Lola loved to travel and visited most of the states. She also enjoyed sewing and designing clothes, gardening, reading and horseback riding.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Vogel and son-in-law, Fred Cavanaugh.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat Cavanaugh and Bernie Bradfield and her husband, Bob; grandchildren, Cindy Catalani, Luke Cavanaugh, Ben Bradfield, Gretchen Maddox and Gabrielle Bradfield; six great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores Short; brother-in-law, Alton Vordenbaum; and sister-in-law, Irma Radtke and her husband, Walter.
