

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Longino G. Camarillo Jr., who entered into rest on May 23, 2026 at the age of 80. Born on February 18, 1946 in San Antonio, TX, Longino lived a life filled with love laughter and cherished memories.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and proudly served his country from 1966 to 1970. Mr. Camarillo retired from Kelly AFB after 25 years of Civil Service as an Aircraft Mechanic. A devoted christian, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. He liked hanging around his favorite buddies at Lucky's Gas Station and enjoyed watching the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.
He had a deep appreciation for animals, especially his 6 pet dogs, the loves of his life, Snowball, Bandit and 4 Chihuahuas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Longino S. Camarillo Sr. and Aurora Gonzales Camarillo.They raised a beautiful family of 16 children, 3 of which have passed on, Guadalupe, Diane and Jim.
Longino leaves behind his 8 sisters and 4 brothers; Delma, Maria, Oralia, Delia, Elida, Annette, Rachel, Dora, Juan, Victor, Joe and Jesse; also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
The Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Mass of The Resurrection at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen St., San Antonio,
TX 78237. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Uriegas, Victor Camarillo Jr., Michael Camarillo, Joe John Perez Jr.,Danny Camarillo and Mike.
