Lorelei B. Ademe

Lorelei was born in Minneapolis, MN in 1930 to Kenneth and Anabelle Bancroft. She married Jorge Ademe in 1953 in Minneapolis after she graduated from Macalester College. Lorelei moved to Mexico with Jorge after their wedding where she was welcomed by Jorge’s loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother and eventually grandmother and great grandmother. Lorelei and Jorge moved to San Antonio, TX after Jorge retired in 1990 and they spent the majority of their retiree years traveling all over the world visiting family and friends and exploring new places.

Lorelei was preceded in death by her husband Jorge in 2016. She is survived by her 4 children, Lorelei (Jorge) Barrero, Rosa Simmons, Jorge (Donna) Ademe and Maurice (Julie) Ademe; her brother Ken (Sharon) Bancroft, 9 grandchildren (and spouses) and 13 great grandchildren.

Lorelei’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the wonderful people at the Village of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX who diligently cared for her during the last 5 years of her life.
