She was preceded in death by her mother, Marina Dominguez Machuca. Lorina is survived by her children, Rae Rodriguez (Patricia Orozco), Karina Cardona, Isaac Cardona (Yvonne Benavides), and Isaiah Cardona (Desirae); twelve grandchildren; father, Felix Machuca; siblings, Sorina Gutierrez and Felix Machuca, Jr. (Vanessa).
