Lorraine R. Allen

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Emma Wilhelm. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Col.(Ret.) Carl J. Allen; daughter and son-in-law Carla Jo and William Jaspersen; son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Janiene Allen; son and daughter-in-law Craig and Sarah Allen; grandchildren: Emma, Carly and Brynn Jaspersen; Cameron and Kailey Allen, and Riley and Peyton Allen. Lorraine is also survived by her loving sister, Jo Ann Handley.

Lorraine will be remembered with so much love for her loving and wonderful personality, her absolute love for all her family, her total love and support while traveling the world with Carl during his military career, travels with all the family after his retirement, and of course dancing with Carl three times a week, every week, for many years.

Lorraine and Carl had 66 years of marriage together and after Carls retirement from the military they worked side by side the remainder of those years, both involved in the Insurance business and Real Estate Investment matters prior to her death.

A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 10:30 am, followed by Mausoleum Services at the same location.

Carl and the family extend their sincere appreciation to the wonderful, caring staff at The Franklin Park Senior Facility.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.
