After praying the Angelus with her family, Lorraine Marie Archer passed away at noon on June 4, 2009 at the age of 74. Born in Karnes County to Ben R. Kollodziej and Annie Kotzur Kollodziej on November 25, 1934. Lorraine was a loving, hard working mother who was true to her faith. Preceded in death by parents and siblings: Fred, Emma, Eleanor and Fabian. Lorraine leaves behind four children: Laura, John (Sonya), Catherine Joseph (John) and David (Maribel); seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nephews; and friends: Al, Marti, Suzie, Shirley and Margaret. The family sincerely thanks Dr. Jesse Medellin and the staff at the Cancer Care Center of South Texas and the Oncology nurses at the Metropolitan Methodist Hospital for their loving care.
