Louis Flores Jr.

Louis Flores, Jr. of San Antonio, entered into rest November 30, 2011. He was born December 15, 1924 to Louis and Maria Flores in San Antonio, Texas. Louis proudly served his country in the US Navy. He worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 33 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Masons, Harlandale Lodge and also an active Shriner. Louis was a man of very strong faith and was extremely devoted to his church. Gardening was one of his favorite things always having the most beautiful flowers in his yard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to everyone he met. He and his constant smile will be deeply missed by everyone.

Louis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Aurora; his parents and his sister, Gloria Flores.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Cindy Flores (Ray); grandchildren, Anthony Lozano (Wendy) and Nicholas Lozano and great-granddaughter, Nia J. Harris-Lozano.

The family of Louis would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Odyssey Hospice for their tender love and care.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 from 6PM to 8PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
