Louis E. Meloni

Louis Eugene Meloni entered eternal life on August 3, 2023 at the age of 84. He was born on September 27, 1938 to Julio and Margaret Provenzano Meloni. Louis was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He attended Northeast High School where he met the love of his life and was blessed with 60 years of marriage.

Louis was devoted to his faith, family and friends. He was a lifelong member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Louis had a long 38 year career as a “bread man” at ButterKrust Bakery. In his free time, he loved coaching his children along with all the neighborhood kids in little league. Louis loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, golfing or watching his kids in sports. Every August, you could find him at Goose Island State Park fishing with family and many friends.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Isabel Albert Meloni, his brothers, Leo and Frank Meloni and his great-grandson, Joe M. Bugg II. He is survived by his children, Donald Meloni (Rhonda), Robert Meloni (Deedee), Lisa Stuart (Robert), Tina Boldt (Ronny) and Brad Meloni (Niki); his grandchildren, Desirae Vidaurri, Kristin Bugg (Joseph), April O’Donnell (Colin), Kayla Epps (Derek), Andrew Stuart, Rusty Boldt (Ashley), Brian Meloni, Sarah Redfearn (Josh), Macy Stuart, Paige Meloni, Stacy Meloni and Kara Meloni; his great-granddaughters, Elliott and Evan Epps and numerous nieces and nephews.
