

Louise Giese, age 74, lost her courageous battle with cancer and went home to the Lord on May 1, 2004. Louise loved the Lord and shared Him with everyone she came into contact with. Louise was the co-owner of the Forget-Me-Not Card and Shop in San Antonio. She started the first Precious Moments Club in Texas and was instrumental in founding the Hallmark Ornament Club in San Antonio.
Louise's passion was for service to our Lord and began the Library at Buchanan West Baptist Church, served with the "Share the Harvest" ministry of First Baptist Church of Kingsland, TX and was the lead singer of the Praise Team at the Flying L Chapel in Bandera. Her place in Heaven was prepared earlier by her son, Terry and parents, Ann Matlock and Herbert Heiser.
She is survived by her husband of 54 wonderful years, Jim; their daughter-in-law Misty Cable, her husband Dan and their sons, Slate & Landon of San Antonio; brother, Al Heiser and his wife Dolly of Canyon Lake; sister, Faye Galneau and her husband Tom of Colorado City and brother, Harvey Heiser and his wife Tootie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Louise was a gracious wife, loving mother, devoted friend and the world's best grandmother, to Slate and Landon.
