LtCol Donald E. Elliott, age 92, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. Donald was born to Lucy and Harvey Elliott on November 25, 1929 in Hammond, Indiana. He was a resident of Mt Ayr Indiana and graduated from Mt Ayr High School class of 1947.
LtCol Donald Elliott retired from the United States Air Force after serving 30 years in the service of the nation. During his time in the Air Force he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma. He was a pilot and flew the C141 Starlifter and several other aircraft models. LtCol Donald enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, all forms of sports, boating and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy R. Noll Elliott; son, Barry M. Elliott and his wife Cecilia; grandchildren, Joseph Michael Elliott and Sarah Elizabeth Elliott;
sister in law Elizabeth Sherman and her 4 sons and extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Lucy and Harvey Elliott; daughter, Donna Rae Rubio "Chick"; and his sister Helen Rae Kraud. He also leaves behind 2 furry beloved companions Pip and Squeak.
