Our beloved Lucia Medrano Chavez G.G. was called by our Lord on April 27, 2002. She was preceded in death by her father, Anselmo Medrano. She was born January 7, 1924 and was 78 years of age at the time of her death. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include: daughter, Anita Chavez Valdez and husband, Ernest; sons, Carlos Chavez, Sr., Alfred Chavez and wife, Berta; plus seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, listed respectfully as follows: Joanne Castillo and husband, Gilbert, and daughters, Hilary and Brooke; Diane Schmidt and husband Robert and daughter, Sarah; Carlos Chavez, Jr.; Michael Chavez and wife, Shelly and son, Eriche Martinez; Melissa R. Chavez and daughter, Brittaney; Alfred Chavez; Bryan Chavez; plus several nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank all the individuals from the Vistacare Team who assisted and supported us during our time of need.
