Lucille V. Meyer

Lucille V. Meyer, age 101, of San Antonio passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, longtime parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society and belonged to VSP.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Meyer, Sr.; grandson, Tony Meyer and son-in-law, Keith Sokol.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Meyer and partner, Katharine Halpin; son, James A. Meyer, Jr. and wife, Donna; daughter, Sandy Hartung; son, Thomas A. Meyer and wife, Delia; daughters, Vicki Sokol and Mary Susan Vehorn and husband, Chuck; son, David Meyer and wife, Marilyn; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, honorary daughter, Polly Puckett and loving friend Lois Kemmy.

A special thanks to VITAS Hospice for their loving care and attention.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
