She is preceded in death by her husband, Ret. MSgt. Victor G. Valadez, Sr; grandson, Evvie Trevino; great granddaughter, Chasity Campos and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her children, Victor Valadez, Jr. (Amy Lea), Erica Valadez; step-daughters, Mary Bolado (Ralph), Margie Trevino and Grace Pena (Ben); siblings, Lupe Mireles, Lola Garcia, Luis Mireles and Margie Mireles; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Lucy will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Leonard Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
