

Luis Espinoza Jr. entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on August 19th, 2024 at the age of 77. Luis was born on May 27, 1947 to Luis Espinoza Sr. and Aurora Azuara, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, Luis lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments.
A proud Texan, Luis spent his career as a dedicated truck driver, a profession that took him across Texas and allowed him to provide for his family. Despite the demands of his job, Luis always made time for what mattered most: his family and friends. He had a deep love for family gatherings, where his warm smile and generous spirit were always the center of attention. Whether it was a backyard BBQ, a camping trip, or a day spent at the coast, Luis found joy in the simple pleasures of life and the company of those he loved.
An avid sports fan, Luis could often be found cheering on his favorite NFL teams and watching boxing matches, sharing his enthusiasm with those around him. His love for the outdoors and sports was matched only by his devotion to his family, who will forever remember his kindness, his strength, and his unwavering support.
Luis will be united in heaven with his father; Mr. Luis Espinoza Sr., his brothers; Edward Espinoza and Norberto Espinoza, and sister; Teresa Espinoza.
Luis’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his loving wife; Sylvia Espinoza, Sons; Manuel Cardenas (Taffina), Luis Espinoza, Mario Cardenas (Maria), and Joe Cardenas (Tracy), daughters; Betty Ann Abundis (Pedro), and Donna, along with numerous grandchildren, he will also be remembered in the hearts of his mother; Aurora Azuara, and brothers; Richard Espinoza, Abel Espinoza, Rudy Espinoza, and his sisters; Mrs. Nelly, Diane, and Dolores.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:45 a.m. for a 11:30 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 8510 S Zarzamora St, San Antonio, TX 78224. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Hwy.16 South, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
