Luis Mata Jr., born January 30, 1930 , went to be with the Lord, November 09, 2011 at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his son Louie Mata III. Mr. Mata is survived by his loving wife Theresa A. Mata, daughters Nora Mendoza (John), Linda Garza (John), Gloria Mata; sons Joe Mata (Evelyn), Alex Mata (Sandra), Johnny Mata (Rosie), Jesse Mata (Diana), Raymond Mata (Hermelinda); 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A visitation will begin, Saturday, November 12, 2011, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. An evening service will be held, Sunday, November 13, 2011 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., a funeral procession will follow to San Fernando Cemetery # 3 following the service.
