Luis Rolando Perales entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2012 at the age of 65. Luis was born on May 4, 1946 in Laredo, TX. He honorably served in the United States Navy and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrical technician on office equipment for over 30 years. Luis is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Martinez Perales; parents, Richard Garcia and Aurora Casso Perales. He is survived by his sons, Edward R. Perales (Nancy) and Luis A. Perales; daughter, Andrea R. Perales; grandson, Jeff Mahanes; sister-in-law, Oralia Perales; uncle, Seraphim Peralez; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
