Luis Raymundo Ramon

With a heavy heart we share that Luis Raymundo Galladro Ramon passed away in his home, surrounded by family, on September 14, 2026. He will be deeply missed by his wife of over 40 years, Violete Ramon, his 5 children, Melissa Cadena, Marisa Wencl, Clarissa Ramon, Elissa Ramon De La Cruz, and Nicanor Ramon and his 8 grandchildren.

He will be remembered by his unwavering commitment to his family, his craft and sharp, witty sense of humor. His dedication was unmatched, working rain or shine in order to provide for those he cared about. At any given moment, he was always only a phone call away and would move mountains for his family. He was honest, pensive and generous.

A graduate of Tecnológico de Monterrey with a degree in Physical Education. He went on to play soccer for the Correcaminos club at Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas in Ciudad, Victoria Mexico. It's undeniable that years of soccer laid the foundation for where his admirable perseverance and endurance came from.

Born in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila Mexico, Luis immigrated to the U.S. and became a successful small business owner. A talented and passionate man, his imprint remains on thousands of infrastructure projects across the state, as well as homes of family and friends.

He spent his free time at home with his family. He enjoyed music and would often fall asleep to his playlist. He could be found watching anything from history to reality TV and was known for being able to talk about almost any subject.

He will be welcomed in heaven by his father, Valdemar Ramon and his sister, Hilda Ramon.

Visitation will be held at SUNSET NORTHWEST FUNERAL HOME, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78238, on September 23, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am.

A Rosary & Funeral Service will be held at SUNSET NORTHWEST FUNERAL HOME, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78238, on September 23, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.
