Luz Aida Vega

She left us to be with Jesus while sleeping peacefully at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was in her 76th year.

Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, she lived a very humble and difficult life. She eventually moved with her family to New York City seeking a better life. It was there where she met her husband David Vega and she started her family.

She was the beloved mother of David and Daniel, and proud grandmother of Elena, Sofia, Isabella, Ian, and Olivia.

Predeceased by her husband, David Vega and brothers, Rafael, Tony and Reynaldo.

Luz lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, was always very giving of the little that she had and did her best to go out of her way to take care of others.

Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of Luz Aida’s life will be held at Crossbridge Community Church, 25700 Overlook Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78260 on Saturday, March 9, 2024 beginning at 10:30 AM.
