

Lydia Rosales, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 12, 1935, in Alvin, Texas, and lived a life filled with love, devotion, and countless cherished memories.
Lydia was a woman known for her warm heart, strong family values, and vibrant personality. She found great joy in caring for those she loved and was happiest when surrounded by family. An exceptional cook, Lydia delighted family and friends with her delicious meals and treasured recipes. She was also a devoted fan of the San Antonio Spurs and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Known affectionately as the family’s fashionista, Lydia took pride in her style and always carried herself with grace and confidence.
Lydia is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 70 years, Joe Rosales; her son, Robert Rosales; and her grandson, Mark A. Rosales, her parents; Manuel Villanueva and Toribia Ramos, and her siblings, Hope, Janie, Gloria, Joe, Manuel Luis, Jessie, Albert, and Jose Maria.
Lydia leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be remembered by her surviving son, Tony Rosales, and daughter-in-law, Esther Zuniga, her brother, Baby Manni, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Lydia’s love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, her kindness, her wonderful cooking, and the unwavering love she shared with everyone around her.
May she rest in eternal peace and be reunited with those who have gone before her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78237, on June 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Memorial Rosary will be held the same day at 7:00 pm.
