How you encouraged me to draw and become an artist.I`ll never forgot the time you gave me money to buy the giant Spiderman comic book I desperately needed..Thank you for taking me to my first Major League Baseball game and sharing your Big Red Soda with me...I`ll always remember all the good times I had with Ricky and Laura, I`ll treaure all the memories....Im sorry I couldnt be there for you at the end because my son Josiah was being born but I was there in Spirit and I know God has a better place for you..I know I`ll see you again soon....Laura My heart goes out to you ...I love you ...Robert

I will always remember the trips out here with us in California. Always making you laugh with the dogs or better yet...the big macaw. Laura and I could'nt sneak anything past you..Damn you had bionic ears. I love you and will always treasure the moments we all had. The good pies mom made because YOU ALL were coming to California.I'm glad I had a chance to see you and Laura and share my love and concern. My heart is with you Laura, I love you girl.

My sister Lydia was a honorable person. She helped my parents raise us/allowing for us to experience life, but never far from us when she was needed. She set good examples and moral which makes me the person I am today. She was strong in her beliefs. There a great void in our life without her. I will miss her greatly. Finally, she can be with Ricky again. God Bless You My Dear Sister. I will always love you.

How can I begin to write a tribute to my sister? There aren't enough words to describe the way she loved her children, her sisters, and brother. During her young life Lydia gave so much of herself to help our parents while they worked to provide for us. She was given the responsibility of caring for her sibblings, along with washing cloths on a wash board, cooking, making tortillas everyday including other chores too long to mention. The hardest responsiblity was making sure that the kids didn't get hurt or get into trouble. I have to admit that she had her hands full with me since I was stubborn and had a will of my own. I remember once when we lived on the farm, I decided to wander off and got lost in the middle of a cow pasture. I was so terrified I couldn't move but from out of no where a hand reached out to help me to safety, it was Lydia. She had a firm hand and firm convictions and instilled great values on all of us, teaching us right from wrong even as adults. She was very proud of her sisters, satisfied with her hard work. It paid off since we turn out to be good hard working individuals thanks to her. I will miss my beloved sister, her love, wisdon, and ever lasting concern for us. However, I find consolation knowing that she is with God, her son Ricky, our parents and her beloved dog Chacha. For now, I will bid my beloved sister a farewell along with my love until we meet in heaven.

I will always remember the good times we had. You and your mom were good to me. I will miss Lydia always.
