'Lynda was filled with goodness and she loved everyone she met. She earned her angel wings here on earth. I envision her now gathering up each of our husbands, forming them into a circle, asking each of them to call out their beloved wife's name, and then leading them in a prayer for us. I believe she is counseling them and telling them about her time with each of us, and how much they are missed by us. Thank you, Lynda, for the love and compassion you shared with me.'

'Lynda was such a special character. She was a loving grandmother to our kids. She had a great sense of humor and more importantly a great faith. She was so matter of fact when she told me about her illness and the course it would take. All she cared about was being able to show people about the hope she had for her future life with God. She had everything organized, including her service. I'm sure she's looking down with gratitude for S, Molly, Sandy and everyone else who helped through such a hard passage.'

'Lynda truly was a gift from God to all of us in the women's grief support group at a critical time in our lives. I'll always remember her faithful comforting presence, her encouraging words along with a sense of humor, and especially her closing prayers as we left the group each week. May she rest in peace and may God comfort her family and friends at this time of loss.'

'I did not know Lynda well, but I often saw her in the Volunteer Programs office at The Institute of Texan Cultures. Her beautiful white hair, lovely smile and gracious ways made encounters with her very pleasant. I heard from other staff members that she was an excellent ITC docent and interesting lady. How good of her to share her love of people and history with visitors at ITC. I am sorry to hear of her passing and wish to express my condolences to her family and close friends.'
