

Lynn Alvin Hagen, 82, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 30th, 2025. He was born in Silverton, Oregon on September 6th, 1942, to Carl Herman Hagen & Elizabeth Jane Deibele Hagen. Lynn enjoyed spending time at his property in Hondo, Texas, hunting with family and outdoor life. He always liked to joke around, yet had a serious and caring heart. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who is deeply loved and greatly missed.
Lynn is survived by his son Tracy Hagen and wife Christina; grandchildren Colton Hagen, Sharon Hagen (Colton) Elrod and great grandson Sutton Elrod; brother-in- laws Robert Zaiontz, Oscar Tudyk; sisters-in-law Ruby Sawyer, Camille Rakowitz, Maxine Rakowitz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 59 years Dorothy Rakowitz Hagen; son, Carl Hagen; sister, Sylvia Zaiontz; sisters-in-law Gertrude (Herman) Stark, Mary (Ray) Boehm, Justine (Eugene) Vesely, Frances Tudyk, Anna (Bob) Reyher; brother-in- laws Ray Rakowitz, Albert Rakowitz; nieces Brenda Sawyer, Pat Atchley; and nephew Daunt Connell.
A private celebration honoring his life and outdoor enthusiasm will be held Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
