Mr. Herring always had a smile on his face when he'd see you at Blessed Sacrament Church or at his store. We would always get our watch batteries or jewelry repaired by him.  He was an amazing jewelry artisan. Such a sweet man. May God wrap his loving arms around my Robert E. Lee hs classmate, David Herring and his entire family.  Our prayers are with you and your family. May perpetual light shine upon him.

My Condolences to the family of Mr. Lynnwood Herring.  I met him around 7 years ago when I needed my watch repaired. He was such a nice man.. we always had conversations about his trips to Las Vegas and  playing Bingo, and his golfing.. he will be missed.. Rest in Peace Lynnwood.

Dear Kathleen and Family,

Please accept my deepest heartfelt condolences. My heart is with you. Lynnwood was an important part of my life for many, many years; I'll always be grateful for knowing him. He treated me as part of the family and those memories will remain fondly in my heart. I will always love him, as a father.

To Kathleen: He loved you with all his heart; y'all were soulmates. Not only did you build your business from scratch, you built a beautiful life and family together. I remember when he would look at you...the sparkle in his eyes knowing you were his wife. He was in awe of you.

To the Family: He loved you dearly and would do anything for you. He taught you (David, Jason, & Glenn) to be capable, responsible, and respectable men & he was honored by the gentleman you've become. He was also very proud of your wives "his daughters", for the love, joy, and stability they've brought the family. And he was delighted for all the children you've blessed the family with. Each of you honored to have the surname, Herring-- generations of love and legacy.

I have known Lynnwood almost my entire life. I met him after he met the love of his life Kathleen. I was in their wedding and we all  shared so many wonderful years together. I loved visiting him at his store and also just talking with him. He was always a great husband, dad & grandpa and also friend to many. We will miss him but will see each other before long.

My wife already misses him. He, and Kathleen, were such good people, Mr. Herring was a gental soul always being the really good husband to Mrs. Herring. We enjoyed him a bunch, and yes, we will certainly miss him. My condolences to Kathleen and the family, the Good Lord will bring us all together one day.

Dear Kathleen and Herring Family,
My sincere condolences for your loss of Lynnwood.  He was a kind and gentle soul.  My encounters with him go back to the days of your shop being in the old Central Park “Food Court”.  I could always count on him to fix my watches no matter what they needed, with a service marked with patience and a smile.  Later, I got to know your family better through the Blessed Sacrament Church parish and enjoyed seeing you together. It made me smile because you were always so kind to each other.  For over twenty years, he generously provided discounts that made it possible to provide personalized keepsake glasses to mark the A.C.T.S. Retreats.  He personally helped me design several glasses for our Women’s retreats. Most recently, in Oct. 2024, with short notice, he engraved 60 glasses to be ready in time for our weekend.
Over the years, Lynwood has engraved in my heart an example of patience, kindness and humility.
