She was a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word.
Mrs. Penrod was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was also a member of the San Antonio Retired Teacher's Association, St. Paul's Altar Society and Kappa Kappa Iota.
Mrs. Penrod had been a teacher for 40 years before retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Penrod and son, John Penrod. Survivors: son, Robert Penrod and wife, Eileen, Houston, TX; daughter-in-law, Agnes Penrod, San Antonio; grandsons, John R. Penrod, Houston, TX, William D. Penrod, San Antonio, Wayne Penrod, Shreveport, LA and Robert Charles Penrod, Austin, TX; nephew, V.K. Dullye; and cousin, Lucille Dullye, both of San Antonio.
