Joe served 38 dedicated years as a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and their four caring children, Anna, Cindy, Joe III and John. He will be missed by his seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three siblings. He will be remembered for his caring ways and the joy he shared with his loved ones.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
A Service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at Porter Loring.
Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
