Malery Martinez, age 16, passed away September 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Roy DeHoyos, her grandfather, Andrew M. Martinez and an uncle, Richard Martinez. Malery is survived by her beloved father, Richard A. Garza; beloved mother, Laura Martinez, beloved step-father, Homer Elizondo, beloved sisters, Maddie Martinez and Madison Garza; grandmothers, Mary Jane Martinez and Gloria Martinez, 2 aunts and 2 uncles. She was an aspiring beautiful model whose generosity and fun loving nature always made her a joy to be around. She was one of the most popular girls at O’Connor High School and loved by all. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes. Interment will follow at Mission North Burial Park Cemetery
